In-store data we collect:
In-store location information. In some locations, we may work with third party partners that collect location and movement data from your mobile device when you’re using a mobile app configured for this purpose. We receive aggregated information about visitors to our stores and may use this data to analyze foot traffic patterns and measure the effectiveness of our marketing and promotional campaigns. In-store Wi-Fi. In some locations, we may offer free Wi-Fi services to our guests. Our Wi-Fi network providers may capture certain data from devices you connect to it, such as a unique device identifier. We may also enable Bluetooth or other technologies in our stores which enable us to detect the presence of your device in our stores or provide operational insights.
Payment Information: We may collect information about your in-store transaction such as items purchased, date and time of your transaction, amount purchased, and payment information, such as your credit/debit card or gift card details, when you make an in-store purchase.
In-store video or images. In some locations, we use CCTV cameras in our stores for security, fraud, incident reporting and loss-prevention purposes, or to collect analytics, improve operations and other purposes.
Information provided by others: Information provided by social networks. When you interact with our Service through various social media networks, such as when you “Like” us on Facebook or when you follow us or share our content on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram or other social networks, we may receive some information about you that you permit the social network to share with third parties. These terms & conditions does not cover purchases made with online merchants such as Amazon or independent retailers that stock our coffee or coffee rubs.

Order Confirmation

All products are subject to availability at the point of purchase. Once a product is sold out, it will be taken off the website and may not be available again. If any products you order are out of stock, we will contact you so that you can cancel the whole or part of your order.

Substitutions will only be made with your prior consent.

Using physical & virtual gift cards

Our Gift Card is a payment method known either as a Finjan Al Basch gift card or e-gift card which can only be redeemed online at finjanalbasch.com and for goods over the telephone.
The following exclusions apply to use of our gift card and e-gift card: Amazon UK, EU & International websites, eBay, and all other third-party sales channels and distribution networks, globally. Other exclusions may apply.
The maximum purchasing value of Gift Cards on our website is capped at 250.00 AED. To purchase a Gift Card with a value that exceeds this amount, please contact our coffee consultants by either telephone or WhatsApp.
Please protect your card and treat it as cash; we cannot replace lost, stolen or damaged cards. If there is any remaining balance on a lost, stolen, expired or damaged Gift Card, we may, at our discretion, be able to transfer this balance onto a new one.
We cannot be held liable for any unauthorised use of lost or stolen Gift Cards prior to their cancellation. Please note: any balance transferred onto a new Gift Card will have the value of those unauthorised purchases deducted accordingly.
The Finjan Al Basch gift card will expire 12 months from purchase or last use. Buying a product or making a balance enquiry refreshes the 12-month expiry period. We will not refund any balance remaining and we will invalidate the card.
Gift cards can be purchased in our shops with a minimum value of 25 AED.
Gift cards and e-gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. We do not give change or refunds on gift cards or e-gift cards.
If you are using a gift card or e-gift card online and the total order value is less than the value of the card, any balance will remain on the card and may be applied to future purchases, provided that the card has not expired.
Where goods you have purchased with a gift card or e-gift card in our shops are subsequently exchanged for goods of a lower price or returned, monies owing will be refunded to a gift card.
If you return damaged goods you have purchased online using a Finjan Al Basch gift card or e-gift card, we’ll credit monies owing to your online shopping account . This does not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept a gift card or e-gift card which we deem to be tampered with, duplicated or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.
We reserve the right to amend the gift card and e-gift card terms and conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so.

Gift Messaging

You are responsible for the content of gift messages and we accept no liability for any incorrect spellings or typographical errors.

We cannot make changes to gift messages after you have completed the checkout process.

We reserve the right to refuse messages (including not limited to where Finjan Al Basch determines that messages include obscene, offensive or other inappropriate language) or to discontinue or temporarily suspend access to the gift message service at any time, entirely at our own discretion and without liability to you.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

All Remote Orders confirmed by Finjan Al Basch will be delivered to the delivery address you specified when placing your order. Finjan Al Basch and/or companies authorised by Finjan Al Basch may contact you by SMS, telephone and/or email with information regarding your order and delivery.

Finjan Al Basch does its utmost to ensure standard deliveries (after receipt of cleared funds and subject to stock availability, factors beyond Finjan Al Basch’s reasonable control and finance validation checks that Finjan Al Basch, in its absolute discretion, deems to be necessary) the 2-5 working days to the UK mainland (for orders placed by 5pm), within 3-7 days to Northern Ireland, and within 2-5 working days to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Channel Islands, 2-14 working days to all international territories.

In case the delivery has not occurred within the above indicated term, you should either make contact with Finjan Al Basch to agree on an additional delay to deliver the Products, or cancel your order by notifying Finjan Al Basch.

In order to deliver orders on time, Finjan Al Basch strives to keep sufficient stocks of Products.

However, it is possible that stocks of certain Products turn out to be insufficient for all deliveries to be affected on time. In such cases, you accept that Finjan Al Basch is entitled to complete partial deliveries, or to defer delivery.

Estimated Delivery Date

The courier will provide you via your unique tracking number of your estimated delivery day.

Finjan Al Basch will only ever provide a courier tracking number which can be found in your order dispatched email.

We will try our best to ensure that your order is processed and dispatched for delivery within the timeframe set at checkout. However, there may be circumstances beyond our reasonable control which may delay your delivery.

If this happens, we will try and arrange for your products to be delivered as soon as possible; however, we will not be liable for any losses caused as a result of such delay.

Next Day Delivery

The Next Day Delivery service is not available in all countries.

If Next Day Delivery is available in your country of residence and the cut-off period hasn’t been reached, we will try our absolute best to dispatch your products within the same day.

Any Next Day Delivery order received after the cut-off period as described on our delivery page will be processed the following day and dispatched.

Your Next Day Delivery service may be delayed by local customs in your country of residence which is beyond our control and therefore will not be held liable.

By selecting to receive your order via one of these options the On Demand Delivery Service, you acknowledge and agree that we are neither responsible or liable for any loss or damage that may result from this service.

Delivery Taxes & Duties

Depending on your country of residence, different taxation rules and additional charges may apply such as import duties upon receipt of the products.

Although our coffee products and rubs may be exempt from taxes this is not always guaranteed.

Our courier partner will notify of any charges or duties upon arrival at your country of residence, normally after your products have been checked by customs.

Unfortunately, Finjan Al Basch have no control over these charges and we cannot advise on their amount.

The payment of any such import duties or taxes is your responsibility.

Before placing your order, please contact your local Customs office for further information and a ‘landed cost estimate’.

The Finjan Al Basch LLC is not responsible for items confiscated or delayed by local Customs authorities.

For US customers, we do not collect sales or use tax in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales or use tax, unless your state is exempt from taxation.

Many states require a sales/use tax return filing at the end of the year for taxable purchases that were not taxed (including internet purchases) and payment of use tax on those purchases.

It is your responsibility to comply with all requirements imposed by the local Customs authority in relation to your order.

This may include the provision of identification information in order to receive your order.

Before placing an order, we recommend that you make yourself aware of local import duties or other requirements.

Introduction

The delivered Finjan Al Basch Products shall remain our property until you have paid all amounts owing under the agreement in full, including the payment of all costs included in the order confirmation.

All risk of loss or damage to the Products shall be transferred to you upon your taking delivery (or of any persons acting in your place).

At the time of the delivery, you are asked to verify that the number of items being delivered corresponds to that indicated on the delivery confirmation and that the Products are intact, undamaged, not wet and unaltered in any manner.

In case you observe damage or missing items, you must notify our Customer Services team within a reasonable period after you discovered the damage or missing item and not later than 7 days after receiving your goods. Finjan Al Basch shall in such case provide you with identical replacement Products.

This does not affect your legal warranty statutory rights below.

Your right to cancel

Our products are non-returnable but you still have the right to cancel your order depending on where you live.

This is a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or equivalent consumer legislation in the EU.

It is recommended you cancel your order before it is dispatched by logging into your account or by calling our concierge team at your nearest convenience.

However certain exclusions apply. Upon cancelling your order you may be asked to state clearly why you wish to cancel your order. If your a guest customer, you will need to provide your order number, contact details and all relevant information.

If an order has already been dispatched for delivery, please wait until you have received your order before exercising your return rights.

If you cancel your order before you have received Product(s), you are entitled to refuse the delivery of the Product(s) and we will refund you in full without undue delay and in any event within 28 days after you have notified us of cancelling your order.

This only applies non opened goods and merchandise only, as Caffe Basch sells perishable items.

We will not process your cancellation request on all Basch By You orders as it is personalised coffee.

We will not accept cancellations for all personalised or coffee based Finjan Al Basch products once your order has been passed to the warehouse.

Right of withdrawal

You may decide to cancel your contract at any time from the date of the shipment confirmation up until the date that is 7 days from receipt by you of the Products by calling our concierge team or emailing sales@finjanalbasch.com.

You are liable for any diminished value of the Products resulting from the handling by you other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Products.

Effects of withdrawal

If you exercise your withdrawal right, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 28 days from the day on which we have received the Products back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the Products, whichever is the earliest.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

However if you return an item as an international customer, the taxes and import duties will be refunded to you by your local customs office and you are solely responsible for reclaiming this.

Your right to a refund

We sell perishable goods and therefore all coffee products, rubs or any product deemed perishable is non-refundable. This is inclusive of customised products, where you the customer have selected personal preferences such as roasting profile or spices.

To refund a Finjan Al Basch product from a third-party retailer, please refer to their terms and conditions of sale.

When you return the Product, you must return the Products to us in an undamaged and unused condition at your expense (unless the Product is faulty or not as described) without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from informing us of your intention to return the item.

Insofar as possible and practicable, the Products should be returned in their original condition and packaging.

At your expense (unless the Product/s is/are faulty or not as described), you shall send back the Products, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.

To the extent practicable, and for due process of you request, the Products should be returned accompanied by the invoice and the return form.

The deadline is met if you send back the Products before the period of 14 days has expired. Your legal rights regarding defective Products (those that are faulty or mis-described) are not affected by your rights of return and refund in this Article 4 or by anything in these General Terms & Conditions of Sales.

When & where to expect your refund

Within fourteen (14) days of us receiving your Order back by post, or receiving proof from you that your Order was returned to us, we will refund you the original purchase price for your Order, provided that you return the Product(s) to us in a saleable condition.

Refunds will be issued back to you as follows:

a) If you paid for your Order using a credit, charge or debit card then your refund will be made back to the same card. This will appear in your account within five (5) days depending on your card issuer.

b) If you paid for your Order using your PayPal or Alipay account, you can either get a refund on a gift card or we can arrange for your Order or alternatively a refund will be made back to your PayPal or Alipay account (this may take up to 10 days).

c) If you paid for your Order using a gift card or e-voucher and returned it to us via post, then the refund will be made back to you via an e-voucher.

d) If you paid for your Order using a gift card or e-voucher as well as your credit or debit card, then any refund for that Order will be made back in the same amounts to the same payment methods that you used when originally placing your Order, with priority given to your credit or debit card.

This means that if you placed an Order for 500 AED but used a 250 AED gift card, with the remainder paid for using your debit card, then you will receive a 250AED refund to your debit card and a 250AED refund to a gift card (if you returned your item to store) or e-voucher (if you returned your item via post).

c) If you paid for your Order using a gift card or e-voucher and returned it to us via post, then the refund will be made back to you via an e-voucher.

This means that if you placed an Order for 500 AED but used a 250 AED gift card, with the remainder paid for using your debit card, then you will receive a 250AED refund to your debit card and a 250 AED refund to a gift card (if you returned your item to store) or e-voucher (if you returned your item via post).

Alternatively, if you bought two items totalling 500 AED (one being 250 AED and the other 250 AED) and you paid for these using a 250 AED gift card, with the remainder paid for using your debit card, then if you wanted to return the item worth 250 AED this would mean that you would receive a 250 AED refund to your debit card and a 250 AED refund to a gift card or e-voucher (subject to how you returned the item to us).

If you have used Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3, we will notify Klarna to cancel your credit agreement and to refund you any installments you have paid.

Our Liability

The photographs and texts illustrating and describing the Products on this Website are non-contractual and for information purposes alone. Finjan Al Basch shall not be liable in case of errors or omissions in the photographs or texts displayed on this Website.

Without limiting the scope of these General Terms & Conditions of Sales and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Finjan Al Basch’s liability for losses you suffer as a result of our breach of these General Terms & Conditions of Sales or our negligence shall be no greater in amount than the purchase price of the Products in respect of which damages are claimed.

Finjan Al Basch is only responsible for any loss or damage you suffer which is a foreseeable consequence of our breach of these General Terms & Conditions of Sales or our negligence. We are not responsible for any loss or damage which is not foreseeable.

Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of our breach or where it could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us. We expressly exclude any liability for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of your breach of these General Terms & Conditions of Sales.

We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these General Terms & Conditions of Sales exclude or limits our liability for:

death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
defective Products under the Consumer Protection Laws; or
for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

Things happen!

Finjan Al Basch will make every reasonable effort to fulfil its obligations. However, Finjan Al Basch cannot be held responsible or liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (“force majeure”).

Such circumstances include without limitation strikes and industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riots, wars, natural catastrophes or any others that make impracticable or impossible the Production, transportation or delivery of Products.

In the event of a delay caused by force majeure, Finjan Al Basch’s obligations will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event. Finjan Al Basch will perform its obligations as soon as reasonably possible, and it reserves the right to allocate any remaining Product supply among customers in a fair and reasonable manner.

If we cannot perform our obligations due to such an event, you may cancel your contract.

To cancel, please contact us. You will have to return (at our cost) any relevant Products you have already received and we will refund the price you have paid, including delivery charges.

Severability

If any provision or part-provision of these General Terms & Conditions of Sale is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable.

If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted.

Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these General Terms & Conditions of Sale.

Law and Jurisdiction

The present Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE, without effect to its conflict of law provisions.

Finjan Al Basch and its affiliated subsidiaries (1st Floor, Business Bay, Dubai. (“Finjan Al Basch”) operates a newsletter subscription and client retention programme.
Subscription to our newsletters and services is complimentary. Your account will be monitored every six months to identify your purchasing patterns, any accounts deemed inactive will be removed from our system automatically.
Your account will be activated upon completion of our subscription form or when completing your first purchase. Before you complete your purchase Finjan Al Basch will ask you to provide us with your contact details, including First Name, Last Name and Email address. Failure to provide the required details, may be deemed as an incomplete registration which may be invalid.
Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy Page), Finjan Al Basch recommends following the link and reading each clause carefully.

Our Rewards Programme

The Finjan Al Basch rewards programme is a generous perk to use on our website designed for you to accumulate Basch Points on purchases made on the finjanalbasch.com website. These terms and conditions govern how you as a user can gain points, tier-up and spend your rewards.

To earn points, you must first register a Finjan Al Basch account. Before registering an account please take the time to read the following:

Our Privacy Policy, which covers how Finjan Al Basch and our third-party affiliates govern and use your data.
Our General Terms & Conditions which governs how Finjan Al Basch operates and processes your orders.

Joining our rewards programme

The only way to join our loyalty and rewards programme is by registering a Finjan Al Basch account and completing your first order online.

During checkout we will ask for personal information such as full name, address and email.

Once you have successfully registered and verified your account, you will automatically be enrolled into our loyalty and rewards programme.

Your account will remain active within our loyalty and rewards programme for a period of 364 days from the anniversary date of your first completed order.

A completed order is defined by Finjan Al Basch, as an order fulfilled from our online site, EBay and Amazon, the payment for the order has successfully processed and cleared into our account and the order has successfully been received you the customer.

You are not authorised to give access to your personal account by disclosing your email, username and password, anyone suspected of account negligence or fraudulent activities will have their Finjan Al Basch account suspended and Basch Points removed.

Our Basch Points and the loyalty and rewards programme is available to commercial customers at the point of registration and upon successful completion of an order.

General Terms & Conditions of Rewards Programme

Members are personally liable for any and all fees, costs, charges, claims or liabilities (including taxes) of whatever nature arising from their membership of the Programme.

Members shall notify the concierge team of any change of address or other personal details to keep their Basch Points valid.

Finjan Al Basch shall not be liable for any damage, theft, loss or unauthorised use of any Member’s Basch Points or associated rewards or gifts, it is solely the responsibility of the user to keep their login credentials safe to prevent unauthorised use of their account.

If there is any difference between the terms and conditions as set out on finjanalbasch.com and other information provided in relation to the Programme, the terms and conditions on finjanalbasch.com will prevail.

These terms and conditions do not affect Members’ statutory rights.

Definitions

‘Anniversary’ Your anniversary is defined as the day of your first verified purchase within a calendar year.

‘Verified purchase’ A verified purchase means the number of completed and dispatched orders held on your customer account. This includes a purchase from any product category currently activated within our loyalty and rewards programme.

This is currently defined as: Basch Blends, Basch By You, Basch Capsules, Pure Origin and Arabic/Turkish. (Last validated: 01/06/2025)

All loyalty tier upgrades and qualifying rewards will automatically credited within one working day from order completion and will be visible in your customer account under the ‘loyalty and rewards tab’

You must login to your customer account to view your points balance, any badges awarded and to redeem your rewards at checkout.

‘Expiry date of loyalty tiers and rewards’ All loyalty tiers and qualifying rewards, remain active for a period of 364 days. After which if your customer account remains inactive by way of no purchase activity, our loyalty and rewards system will reset your points balance and deduct any active coupons or cash rewards that remain.

Earning Bonus Points

All tiers within our loyalty and rewards programme will be eligible to receive Finjan Al Basch Bonus Points.

Bonus points are only awarded after verification of either a completed purchase which qualifies for bonus points, or by completing our recycling programme, or by posting positive reviews.

Any Bonus Points awarded will be credited to your customer account within 24 to 72 hours. Non-transactional bonus points such as a positive review, comment or post will require additional verification and may be awarded within 7 working days by a Finjan Al Basch team member.

Happy Anniversary: Finjan Al Basch customers that register on either our subscription form or customer account system will be entitled to complimentary points which are automatically credited to their Finjan Al Basch account within 24 hours of your account anniversary.

Additionally we may from time to time reward our customers store credit or a complimentary discount depending on their loyalty status.

Social Media Posts: Finjan Al Basch customers from all tiers will be awarded bonus Basch points for posting positive product reviews, brand recognition and or any other positive communication that has benefited Finjan Al Basch.

Basch Points can only be rewarded for customers that have made verifiable purchases and have posted either a positive comment, review or post on either our website: finjanalbasch.com, or via our other online retail outlets or on of the following social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Weibo.

All customers are limited to a maximum reward of 1000 bonus points per month.

We have the right to substitute and/or change these spend levels at any time in its discretion.

How to use cash rewards

Finjan Al Basch operates cash rewards on certain tiers within our loyalty and rewards programme

All cash rewards will be credited into your personal Finjan Al Basch account and shown in both your Basch Rewards tab as well as upon checkout when placing your next order.

Any cash reward must be redeemed within 364 days of being issued into your Finjan Al Basch account.

All rewards that remain unredeemed will expire and will not be replaced by any cash value or Basch Points.

It is important to notify customers that in certain circumstances you may hold multiple cash rewards with various expiration dates, it is your responsibility to activate or redeem your cash rewards within the valid timeframe.

Your cash reward will be credited in multiples of 25.00 to 50.00 AED to the total sum of the cash reward awarded based on your membership tier.

Each cash reward voucher can only be activated once per transaction.

The cash reward may be excluded from certain Finjan Al Basch products.

Any refund on a purchase, after you have been awarded your cash reward may result in your cash reward being removed from your account and the relevant Basch Points deducted.

You cannot refund Finjan Al Basch products purchased using your cash rewards as Finjan Al Basch deems them as gifts.

Additional benefits

Change

Registered customers of Finjan Al Basch will receive benefits (“rewards”) in accordance with the level of spending within a calendar year, a calendar year is based on 364 days from the anniversary date of your first purchase as a verified customer.

Rewards are subject to availability and can be changed or altered at the discretion of Finjan Al Basch.

Finjan Al Basch Membership Tiers:

Graduate Membership: 1000 Points

Rewards: Exclusive discount days, Complimentary 250g Basch blend.

To earn points at this level, customers must purchase from any qualifying product category within a 364-day period to maintain their loyalty tier.

Basch Barista: 1500 Points

Rewards: £10 OFF cash reward, Complimentary 250g Basch blend, 2 x Complimentary shipping, Complimentary merchandise, Exclusive access to product launches.

To earn points at this level, customers must purchase from any qualifying product category within a 364-day period to maintain their loyalty tier.

‘Loyalty tier calculation’ your loyalty tier is determined by the number of purchases and any bonus points accumulated within a 364-day period.

Termination of Basch Rewards programme

Finjan Al Basch has the right to terminate the Programme or make changes to the terms of the Programme at anytime.

Finjan Al Basch and its affiliates will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.

For up-to-date Terms and Conditions, customers should refer to our terms and conditions periodically.

All customers will be deemed to have accepted any changes or variations by the continued use of our Finjan Al Basch rewards programme.

At its discretion, Finjan Al Basch can refuse or revoke any customer’s membership of the Programme, at anytime.

In that case, your Finjan Al Basch tier and Basch Points will be forfeited and any unused current Cash Balance may be cancelled.
